Dance has long been expressed through art, whether it is a painting, sculpture, photograph, or other medium. This exhibition includes works from famed artists such as Edgar Degas and Auguste Rodin. From modern sculpture, to impressionistic paintings, the Dancing through Art exhibition will leave you with a new appreciation for the art of dance.
Overall, I enjoyed the art choices. They are high quality, they help show form and motion of the human body. One can view them and see how the human body works; it’s obvious the artists you chose took great care and deliberation in the painting of their works, just as you took care into selecting works yourself. I enjoyed your selections, the views of the human form and motion, and the time you’ve put in. Wonderful job!
This exhibit is very well done. The human figure is very uniquely presented and each artist has a distinct stylized figure. You also had a nice variety of medium, from painting to photography to sculpture. Overall, a very nice exhibit!
I like this exhibition. There are good choices of art, and various poses of the dancers are capture, including dancers in motion and at rest. This is a good representation of dance. Good job!
The images in your exhibit are beautiful! I liked how there were so many different poses, and how graceful all the images were. I also liked how your images weren’t all just paintings, but several bother mediums as well. You did a very nice job with your exhibit!
I very much enjoyed this dual history of dance and of art. The images you chose were quite evocative of the movements and emotions of dance. I also like how you included several kinds of art and art mediums in your collection. Well done! The only slight suggestion I would have is to perhaps include artworks pertaining to non-ballet modern dance (unless there are none to choose from or if your exhibition was devoted entirely to ballet; I noticed that your username is “balletpony”).
